Blondes

I'm trying not to get too excited about Bitter End's Lakeland Blonde, bottle conditioned. I guess it is a sad sign when you enthuse about a beer, but if it comes close to Hesket Newmarket's Scafell Blonde then my drooling is justified. It seems a shame that Rheged is the only outlet in Eden at the moment where you can join the Cumbrian beer revolution. Roll on Booths in Penrith I say. Talking of which, trundling through the bonny town today I had a vision of what it might have been like before the endless unfinished building projects. Can anyone remember back that far?
